Mega Millions Scam - Christopher Wayland - Elizabeth Lyons

The Mega Millions Scammers featured in this article go by the names of Elizabeth Lyons and Christopher Wayland.

The first email I received from scammer Elizabeth Lyons is a generic email that is sent to the masses. The scam email has the subject line “Congrats your email ID has won”. This is simply not true and you have not won anything.

Note, that tickets are not sold anywhere for this program; hence, your e-mail address subsequently won you in the 3rd category, i.e. match five plus bonus.

You have been approved for over two months to claim a total sum of One Million United States Dollars, credited to file GOLDEN/9GM/327752.

In the second email, I received from Mrs Elizabeth Lyons the scammer requested personal information. These details including your name, address and telephone number should not be given to the scammer. At the very least this information will be used to target you with further scams in the future.

The third email I received in the Mega Millions Scam was supposedly from an attorney called Christoper Wayland. The purpose of this scammer calling himself an attorney is an attempt to make the scam appear legit.

It is in my usual practice to conduct proper verification of all packages, to ensure they are valid and legitimate. Be assured that your prize is factual and legal, while, delivery will be effected to your nominated address once you meet the requirements. Note that as soon as you comply with the requirements, it will take maximum two-working days for your package to arrive its designated destination provided by you. This is the part of the Mega Millions scam in which the attorney Christoper Wayland asks for a fee. In this particular scam, he claims I have not paid the “legal contingency fees. This makes it the Advance Fee Scam, if you pay the fee you will lose your money and not receive a dollar from these scammers.

Mavis L Wancysk was the Megamillions lottery winner some time ago, she is a favourite for scammers to impersonate. Below is a screenshot of a Mega Millions scam email allegedly from Mavis L Wanczyk.
